Tony Sanders


Tony Sanders, Radiation Lead for Radiation Hardness Assurance in the Radiation Effects and Analysis Group as a part of the Flight Data Systems and Radiation Effects Branch in the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate. Tony completed the NASA Goddard Technical Apprenticeship Program in electronics in 1991. Afterwards Tony participated in the NASA Goddard Undergraduate Study Program where he worked and went to school at the same time. Tony received his BS degree in Electrical and Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1999. He has worked in various areas at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center throughout his career, including Card Key Systems, Data Flight Systems, Robotics, Component Technologies, and Radiation Effects. He has supported both research and space flight projects such as HST, GLAST, SWIFT, NGST, MLA, ERC, LRO, MSL, and MMS. Tony has been an IEEE member since 1995 and is currently a member of the Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society.
