Steve Cox


Steve Cox, Engineering Technician with the Radiation Effects and Analysis Group, began his career at NASA, GSFC in 1987. He completed a four year Technician Apprenticeship Program (TAP) in Machining Technology / Fabrication which encompassed training in both conventional and unconventional machining techniques, involving use of manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. Steve worked in the Fabrication and Development Section, main machine shop until late 1997. He has been involved with many projects during his career at NASA, GSFC such as, HST 1st Servicing Mission, TopHat, SPIRAC and TRMM.
